Groups of up to 40 guests

LEARN TO SAIL – Corporate Team Building

Experienced crew will teach your members to “hand, reef, and steer.” They will learn the rudiments of navigation in the same waters where Salem’s own Nathaniel Bowditch got his start.  Consultant-led programs, we work with you to design your own day at sea. Your group will learn how to navigate, handle the sails, and steer a course… all through a fun, hands-on curriculum that emphasizes the importance of teamwork and cooperation in any group endeavor.
Cost: Base rate for three hours (longer cruises available) plus instructor’s fee Team-Building & Management Classes.

Storytelling Cruises

Do you like ghost stories or tales of shipwreck and piracy? The North Shore enjoys a wealth of talented storytellers, role-players and re-enactors, each of whose lore and wisdom is magnified by the salt air on board FAME. Build a custom cruise around the storyteller of your choice!

Cost: Base rate for two hours (longer cruises available) plus the storyteller’s fee.

 

PIRATES OF THE NORTH SHORE – Up to groups of 20 guests

A four-hour charter minimum, your group will set sail for Misery Island, row ashore and hunt for buried treasure! Pirate costumes, a custom-made cake, party favors and state park admission are all included in the price. One adult chaperone with a wristwatch is required for every four children who are under 12. Total charter party is not to exceed 20. Not available on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays in July and August.

Cost: Base rate for four hours plus costs for permits and themed items.

A 1947 Maine built yacht that was refit in 1990 to accommodate large charter & tour groups. Her unique red sails and white wooden hull add to her authenticity. Ample seating for all guests with “tall ship” space for mingling.

With her two masts tall under a clear sky, Aurora will take you back to a time reminiscent of the “Tall Ships Era.” The seaworthy Aurora is Coast Guard certified to accommodate up to 75 passengers and is professionally maintained by her friendly and experienced crew.
