LEARN TO SAIL – Corporate Team Building
Experienced crew will teach your members to “hand, reef, and steer.” They will learn the rudiments of navigation in the same waters where Salem’s own Nathaniel Bowditch got his start. Consultant-led programs, we work with you to design your own day at sea. Your group will learn how to navigate, handle the sails, and steer a course… all through a fun, hands-on curriculum that emphasizes the importance of teamwork and cooperation in any group endeavor.
Cost: Base rate for three hours (longer cruises available) plus instructor’s fee Team-Building & Management Classes.Storytelling Cruises
Do you like ghost stories or tales of shipwreck and piracy? The North Shore enjoys a wealth of talented storytellers, role-players and re-enactors, each of whose lore and wisdom is magnified by the salt air on board FAME. Build a custom cruise around the storyteller of your choice!
Cost: Base rate for two hours (longer cruises available) plus the storyteller’s fee.
PIRATES OF THE NORTH SHORE – Up to groups of 20 guests
A four-hour charter minimum, your group will set sail for Misery Island, row ashore and hunt for buried treasure! Pirate costumes, a custom-made cake, party favors and state park admission are all included in the price. One adult chaperone with a wristwatch is required for every four children who are under 12. Total charter party is not to exceed 20. Not available on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays in July and August.
Cost: Base rate for four hours plus costs for permits and themed items.

Available for charters from May through October.
A contemporary styled Oyster 485, she was built and equipped to sail anywhere in the world. She provides all the comfort and convenience: TV, VCR, CD player and stereo. A Center Cockpit allows a spacious aft deck for lounging and sun bathing (chair mats provided). Not shown is a sun protection bimini and dodger.

Sit back and enjoy the scenery or help the crew raise the sails as we sail through Gloucester’s working harbor, near rocky coves and beaches. Have a unique, safe, and fun adventure along the North Shore. Try a starlight full-moon cruise, offered several evenings a month. Bar service available. Inquire about Corporate Team building.
