Stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and designer fabrics are sure to impress those with even the most discerning tastes. She boasts a master with walk-around queen size bed, crossover beds in the VIP, and side by side twins in the third cabin allowing her to accommodate six overnight guests. The cockpit carries Viking’s newest fore and aft deep, large fishboxes and in-deck storage wells in which to keep your haul! A cool air blower system is incorporated into the flybridge aft overhang for extra comfort while you lounge on the mezzanine cushions. The flybridge has ample seating and tons of refrigeration space making it the perfect spot to relax after a full day. The recent addition of the custom Palm Beach tower is just another example of how the Owner has spared no expense making her the ultimate fishing machine.

BAREFOOT can accommodate 6 guests in 3 cabins.
The Master cabin has a queen size bed, shower and toilet.
A VIP cabin has a twin bed, shower and toilet.
A Guest cabin has a twin bed, shower and toilet.
BAREFOOT  is fully air conditioned through out.  This is a non-smoking vessel.  BAREFOOT´s crew share companionway, heads and showers with guests. Guests are not allowed to bring pets onboard.

BAREFOOT Crew Profile

Captain Kris McKenney was born in Corpus Christi, Texas in 1980. His family moved to Fort Lauderdale soon after to pursue their passion for adventure. By the time Kris was 10 years old they were living on their Tartan 37’. For two years he was “boat schooled” as they sailed the Bahamas fishing, diving, and exploring. Soon they added a CSY 44’ to their family fleet. In 1998, on his 18th birthday Kris got his Captains License.

Kris went to college to become a pilot. He can fly anything from commercial jumbo jets to sea planes. During his breaks he would run boats for the family charter business. It was there that he met the owner of the original BAREFOOT and then began working fulltime for the family in 2004. 8 years, and a few boats later he is happily and successfully still finding the fish with them.

Some of the impressive accolades he has produced at the helm are placing in the following tournaments: Bahamas Wahoo Championship, Ocean Reef Cup, Silver Sailfish Derby, LYC Bimini Blast. In 2010 the BAREFOOT placed first at the World Sailfish Championship.

When asked his favorite type of fish to catch, Kris replied “Whichever one we are after”! He truly has a love for the sport.

Kris believes that the BAREFOOT offers the ultimate sportfishing charter. “Clients will get a first class boat with an inventory of tackle and gear to catch any type of fish”. The BAREFOOT is comfortable, state of the art, and FAST with 2 MTU’s @ 2400 HP. She also has two generators. Captain Kris handpicks his crew to match the needs of each Client ensuring that the experience exceeds all expectations.

When Kris is not fishing, He is typically flying, diving, or hunting.
