Make it happen soon.  Since I visited the Galapagos in 2016, its popularity has increased as a destination for all ages and budgets. What a grand trip we had, and I can tell you all about it.

Whether you opt for a full-week voyage or a combined land-and-sea experience, our extensive portfolio ensures you have access to countless options and the perfect private luxury yacht.

Three Possible Itineraries: specifically designed for your group’s interest (Inquire)

A jacuzzi is a must-have!  After exploring the island in the morning, snorkeling with the hammerhead sharks (no worries, they are harmless), you will come back on board and say to your attentive crew, “Una cerveza, por favor”, and please bring to the jacuzzi deck, “Gracias”.

From City Culture to Evolutionary Wonders: My Ecuadorian and Peruvian Journey

In 2026, I traveled to Guayaquil, Ecuador, and discovered a unique, vibrant city that acts as the perfect gateway to South America’s greatest wonders.

Guayaquil: Culture, Charm, and Cobblestones Guayaquil’s heart is the historic Barrio Las Peñas, where charming cobblestone streets lead you past local eateries, breweries, and the friendliest people.

Malecón 2000: Walk along the stunning waterfront esplanade and experience the beauty of families enjoying their city. Must-See Museum: The Anthropological and Contemporary Art Museum (MAAC) is definitely a great—and free—tour. Souvenir Spotlight: Don’t miss the original Panama hats—a must-buy souvenir woven right here in Ecuador.

Local Fact: The city’s name is a tribute to the indigenous chief Guaya and his wife, Quil, who, according to legend, chose death over submitting to the Spanish.

Acclimation and Transit

Since Ecuador is five hours behind Eastern Standard Time and does not observe daylight saving time, we planned a few easy days for acclimatization. After taking a pleasant trolley ride around the city and walking through Old Town, we spent three nights in Guayaquil—perfect for shaking off any jet lag.

The Ultimate Expedition: Yachting the Galápagos

From Guayaquil, we flew to Baltra, where we boarded the magnificent motor yacht, Integrity, for an unforgettable one-week charter.

Cruising the Galápagos Islands was truly the best in travel. The experience included:

  • Witnessing Charles Darwin’s discoveries and the islands’ unique archeological history up close with your Naturalist Guide
  • The excitement of crossing the Equator, complete with a champagne toast!

The Full South American Adventure

The motor yacht experience was the crown jewel of a three-week itinerary. After leaving the Galápagos, I flew to Lima, Peru, combining this incredible charter with a visit to Machu Picchu—a perfect combination of history, nature, and luxury travel.

Extended travel options
