145' HEMISPHERE Catamaran

Destination Costa Rica on the World’s Largest Catamaran: HEMISPHERE

Accommodating up to 12 guests, 145′ catamaran HEMISPHERE is the grand dame of the sea and she’s on her way to Costa Rica!  Having been on board numerous times, I can tell you that this Cornish-built boat possesses beauty that rivals Poldark’s Demelza (see Poldark, Masterpiece, PBS).

The world’s largest sailing catamaran: HEMISPHERE

Luxurious HEMISPHERE will be cruising this May to June in Costa Rica and Panama. Her massive beam (54′) is what makes her comfortable in open waters and at anchor. Her innovative design boasts creatively practical features that blend speed and stability with both space and style.

HEMISPHERE also has a spacious fly bridge features a Jacuzzi, sun pads and shaded dining area along with a stunning and immense indoor/outdoor living area on the main deck.

Play(a) Time

Don’t be a sloth (as darling as they are). Remember that a yacht charter isn’t just about hanging out on a gorgeous boat like HEMISPHERE and soaking up the sunshine. Think of your charter time as play time or “playa time”! You get the idea.

We suggest an itinerary full of activities, exploration and healthy relaxation:

Activities

Jet skiing, surfing, swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, standup paddleboarding.

Visiting the canopy forest with its immense trees, wildlife, waterfalls and mud or thermal pools, zip line canopy tours and panoramic horseback rides.

Exploring mangroves.

Fishing for mahi mahi or roosterfish.

Introduction to scuba diving with eagle rays, white tips sharks and schooling fish.

Golfing

Spa visits

Helicopter tour to volcano Rincon de la Vieja National Park with a naturalist guide.

Keel-billed toucan in the jungle of Costa Rica

Costa Rica an Eco-Tourism Mecca

Nature-lovers will be happy to know that Costa Rica has designated one-third of their country protected areas making it an eco-tourism mecca.

The wide variety of wildlife, plant life and the dramatic microclimates and landscapes do not disappoint. Perfect beaches and bays dot the Pacific coastline along with private reserves and villages allowing for land visits including jungle adventures.
