Watching the fantastic video (featured here) about the 62ft Lagoon catamaran TWIN FLAME, you’ll see that the new husband and wife owners and winners of the reality TV show Amazing Race 5, Colin Guinn and Christie Woods, have an exceptional zest for life that they’re excited to share with the world.
A FLOATING EXPERIENCE CENTER
While it’s important to know that Caribbean-based catamaran TWIN FLAME sleeps 8 guests in 4 cabins, is run by a stellar crew of 3, and features a plethora of the latest water toys, it’s also important to know how Colin and Christie talk about their boat. Colin says:
“This isn’t just a 62-foot catamaran; this is a floating experience center that we’ve crafted to bring all of our favorite parts of being alive on planet Earth and share them with you.”
WHAT’S IN THE NAME TWIN FLAME
Guessing that Colin and Christie are probably “twin flames” themselves, I pondered the expression. I thought, dear readers, that the following description might explain how this beautiful boat (formerly named SPLIT SECOND) got her new name:
Souls that reach a high level of consciousness may be split into two in order to come back down into a physical body. This means that two of that person are roaming the earth, both half the energy that they originally were. This other half of their energy is often called a “twin flame” and when the two cross paths, they feel whole again, grow and give rise to new souls.
The master cabin suite includes a lounge area, desk, queen size berth, large glass shower, separate vanity area and direct access to the aft deck for slipping out to stargaze and take a midnight dip off the stern. The other 3 spacious guest cabins each offer a queen size berth, stall shower, electric toilet and vanity. All cabins have individual air conditioning controls.
The aft deck offers alfresco dining and a lounging area. The main salon offers lounging area plus formal dining.
TWIN FLAME owner Colin speaks reverently of his exceptional crew,
“We searched the world over to find a crew who embodies our values.”
And the guest comments confirm Colin and Christie’s choice of crew. Charterers love the crew’s endless energy, kindness, skill and SCUBA expertise.
“I spent 7 days with Kieran and Michelle cruising the BVI. They were such welcoming people! I remember them helping us board the boat from the dingy and being beyond helpful. Throughout the week they made very tasty cocktails, delectable food, and joined in on our 11 person group conversations. Kieran captained the boat from time to time and was a wonderful navigator. Additionally, they were incredible dive leaders- taking 3 of our group members down for the first time. Everyone enjoyed the diving with them so much!”
HOW TO SPEND YOUR DAYS ON TWIN FLAME
Your TWIN FLAME charter has so many possibilities. Christie suggests:
“Start your day with a routine that you love.”
Food prepared by catamaran TWIN FLAME’s super chef Michelle is creative, fresh and healthy or decadent, as you wish. Charterers visit hidden treasures and wildlife sanctuaries above and below the water. The crew is game for exploring with you or just keeping you happy on board your private floating retreat.
“The amazing thing about a charter format is that it gives you a block of time to disconnect and hyper-focus on all the different parts of life happening in front of you.”
TOYS FOR ABOVE AND BELOW THE WATER
TWIN FLAME has the latest technology onboard that’s user-friendly so it’s easy to have movie nights, exercise videos, documentaries or just music to set the mood, whatever it is.
Underwater adventures include snorkeling and diving with the latest SCUBA gear. You can also play above water, wake boarding, water skiing, kite surfing, kite foiling, kayaking, paddleboarding and more.
According to Colin,
“TWIN FLAME may be the only charter out there with a fully-electric hydrofoil surfboard. It’s truly a magic carpet ride.”
LIFE. LOVE. ADVENTURE.
We love the charter experience that Colin and Christie have created with TWIN FLAME in its cool Caribbean home. It’s full of life, love, adventure and, as Colin says, “new possibilities”. I’m reminded of the earlier definition of the phrase “twin flame”:
“This other half of their energy is often called a “twin flame” and when the two cross paths, they feel whole again, grow and give rise to new souls.”
TWIN FLAME is based in the Caribbean year-round and can be anywhere in the Caribbean with 48 hours notice.
